How do I get to Four Seasons Hualalai?
Kona International Airport (KOA) is just a quick 10-15 minute drive from the resort.
Options include renting a car at the airport, taking a taxi, or arranging a transfer (taxi, sedan, or luxury SUV) through the resort’s concierge team.
What types of accommodations are available?
The resort features 252 rooms, suites, and villas arranged in low-rise, one- and two-story bungalows across 5 unique crescents.
Avid golfers love the Ocean Golf-View crescent overlooking the 18th green, families love the King’s Pond and Sea Shell crescents, and couples love the Palm Grove and Beach Tree crescents.
A single guest room with one king bed + full sofabed will accommodate 2 adults + 2 children as long as both kids are age 14 and under, or 2 adults + 1 child age 18 and under.
Rooms with two queen beds are extremely limited and can only be booked as a connector to a room or suite.
The suites with one king bed include a queen size sofabed.
Rooms and suites on the ground floor have a private outdoor lava rock shower (Ocean Golf-View, Poolside, Partial Ocean-View, Ocean-View, Ocean-View Deluxe, and Oceanfront).
Rooms on the second floor have the best views and additional privacy (Ocean Golf-View, Prime Ocean-View, Ocean-View Deluxe, and Oceanfront).

What is the design and decor like? When was it last renovated?
Authentic Hawaiian style with earth-tone palettes, bamboo, thatch, slate, and natural materials for seamless indoor-outdoor living.
The last major renovation was a $100 million property-wide refresh completed in 2021, adding King’s Pond infinity pool, updating all rooms/suites, adding new oceanfront bungalows, and debuting new two story villas.
Recent enhancements have included a renovated and refreshed ‘ULU, Miller and Lux, as well as the Spa, plus a new sushi lounge and omakase dining experience at NOIO.
What is the overall vibe and who is it best for?

Eight outdoor pools, including the iconic 1.8-million-gallon King's Pond (swimmable aquarium), a dedicated kids' pool, a zero-entry sand bottom toddler pool, adults-only pool with swim-up bar, serenity pool, and lap pool.
Hot tubs are available in each of the pool crescents

What is the beach like?
White-sand oceanfront with stunning views, and great lounging quality.
The resort’s Ocean Pool is carved out of the oceanfront lava rock and featuring a natural breakwater. Protected from the waves and home to sea life including honu (turtles), this is a great place for young kids, new swimmers and anyone who wants the feel of the ocean with the security of a pool.
The resorts Ocean Activity Center offers direct walk-in access to ocean paddleboarding, snorkeling, Seabobs, water scooters, and more.
What dining options are available?
Six restaurants: reimagined ‘ULU (ocean-to-table seafood and sushi with refreshed 2025 menu), new NOIO (second-floor sushi lounge and omakase, opened 2025), Miller & Lux (steakhouse by Tyler Florence), Beach Tree (coastal Italian with live music), Residents' Beach House (casual seafood and great pizza), and Hualalai Trading Company (store with lots of grab-and-go snacks and drinks and outdoor seating).

The resort's bungalows are grouped into five main areas: four oceanfront crescents (Palm Grove, Beach Tree, Sea Shell, and King's Pond) and one golf-view section (Ocean Golf). Each crescent has its own vibe and central feature:
